The Associate Dean is responsible for developing and managing student centered, humane, caring strategies to recruit and enroll historically marginalized, underrepresented, and underserved students to the University.

The Associate Dean will build relationships and collaborate closely with members of the UVA and Charlottesville communities as well as communities throughout Virginia.

Reporting to the Associate Vice Provost of Enrollment and serving on the senior leadership team, the Associate Dean leads and inspires a team of 4 full-time professional staff members, as well as seasonal and student employees, in the recruitment and evaluation of first year and transfer applicants to the University.
